Punch TV Studios, Inc. is committed to making our websites and digital content usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for all visitors and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Our Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.
This statement applies to punchtvstudios.com, our online store at punchtvstudio.com, and support.punchtvstudios.com.
What We Have Done
- Captions: our promotional videos include closed captions, which are turned on by default and can be switched off in the video player.
- Readable text: text and buttons meet WCAG color-contrast requirements, and links within articles are underlined.
- Keyboard access: the site can be navigated with a keyboard, with a clearly visible outline showing where you are on the page.
- Screen reader support: images have text descriptions, and buttons, links and form fields have labels that screen readers can announce.
- Motion control: a “Pause motion” button stops background video, sliders and animations, and we automatically reduce motion for visitors who have turned on their device’s reduced-motion setting.
- Zoom: pages can be zoomed and resized on phones and tablets.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Browser games: our arcade and Treasures of the Golden Bee games are fast-paced, visual experiences that may not be fully usable with a screen reader. Instructions are shown on each game page, and we are happy to describe any game in another format on request.
- Third-party content: some features, such as embedded maps, the payment and checkout services used in our online store, and social media content, are provided by other companies and are outside our direct control.
- Older content: some older pages and media may not yet meet every guideline. We are reviewing and updating them.
